EvidMed as an app

Install EvidMed on your device

EvidMed can be set up as a standalone app in a few steps: its own icon, its own name, its own app window. Sign-in, permissions, and data handling remain unchanged.

iPhone and iPad (Safari)

  1. 01Open EvidMed in Safari.
  2. 02Tap the share icon.
  3. 03Choose “Add to Home Screen”.
  4. 04Confirm with “Add” — EvidMed appears as its own app icon.

Android (Chrome)

  1. 01Open EvidMed in Chrome.
  2. 02Choose “Install app” from the menu.
  3. 03Confirm the installation.
  4. 04EvidMed then starts in its own app window.

Mac (Safari 17 or later)

  1. 01Open EvidMed in Safari.
  2. 02Choose “Add to Dock…” from the File menu.
  3. 03Confirm with “Add”.
  4. 04EvidMed then appears in the Dock and starts in its own app window.

Windows and macOS (Chrome, Edge)

  1. 01Open EvidMed in your browser.
  2. 02Choose the install icon in the address bar.
  3. 03Confirm the installation.
  4. 04EvidMed is then available from the start menu or applications folder.

EvidMed requires an internet connection. Offline use is intentionally not supported so that only the current, released state of knowledge is shown.

Publication in the app stores

For the App Store and Google Play, EvidMed is additionally prepared as a standalone store application. That route requires developer accounts with Apple and Google, a dedicated app shell, and the respective review processes. The technical foundation is already in place with the installable app.
