Business development with a 360-degree perspective.

From the business idea through operational development to strategic realignment.

Companies face different challenges at different stages of development. A business idea has to become a viable concept. As growth continues, operations need more structure. Existing business models have to evolve, organisational weaknesses have to be identified, and technological possibilities have to be put to sensible use. In other situations, the task is to regain lost orientation and open up new options for action.

I support founders and companies in looking at these tasks in context and working through them step by step. My approach combines entrepreneurial analysis, structured conception and practical implementation. In doing so, I take into account the interdependencies between business model, offering, customer requirements, organisation, processes and technology.

This 360-degree perspective is the foundation of my work: understanding relationships, identifying causes, setting priorities and deriving concrete measures from them.

Services

Six fields of work, one context.

Founding, analysis, process improvement, realignment, practical AI application and product development are interlinked. Depending on your situation, one field takes the lead while the others stay in view.

01

Developing and implementing business ideas in a structured way

An idea becomes an understandable offering, a clear customer benefit and a comprehensible path to market.

Founding a company often begins with an idea, a particular competence or an identified need. For implementation, these have to turn into an understandable offering, a clear customer benefit and a comprehensible path to market.

I accompany this development process from the first concretisation through to step-by-step implementation. Together we look at which problem is to be solved, for which target group the offering is relevant and which prerequisites are needed to realise it.

This includes shaping the offering, structuring the required business processes and planning a suitable digital foundation. Depending on the venture, the result may be a website, a digital service, a prototype or a standalone software application.

Implementation proceeds along comprehensible stages. Assumptions are tested, open questions are made visible early, and next steps are prioritised according to their importance and feasibility. This creates a solid basis for decisions and for the company’s further development.

02

Analysing companies and identifying weaknesses

A review that looks at individual problem areas and how they interact, and prioritises the need for action.

When processes do not work reliably or a company’s development falls short of expectations, the causes are not always found where the effects become visible.

Unclear responsibilities can lengthen processing times. Missing information can make decisions harder. Unsuitable systems can create additional work. An offering that no longer adequately matches customer needs can also require adjustments in several places.

My review therefore looks at both individual problem areas and how they interact. The focus is on questions such as: Is the entrepreneurial direction understandable and translated into concrete measures? Do offering, target groups and customer approach fit together? Are tasks, responsibilities and handovers clearly defined? Where do errors, duplicated work, loss of information or avoidable delays arise? Do the systems in use support the actual workflows? Which changes offer the greatest benefit and should be implemented first?

The analysis results in a prioritised picture of the need for action. I distinguish between problems that can be solved immediately, structural causes and longer-term development topics.

03

Improving business processes and enabling implementation

Make processes more understandable, clarify responsibilities and carry improvements through so they arrive in daily work.

The quality of a company shows largely in how reliably its daily processes work. Improvements therefore have to arrive in practice: with the people who handle tasks, pass on information and make decisions.

I support companies in making processes more understandable, clarifying responsibilities and reducing unnecessary steps. This includes looking at the interfaces between different activities, departments and applications.

Digital tools and automation can make an important contribution here. The prerequisite is that the underlying process is understood and sensibly designed. Together we therefore examine which activities can be standardised, where human judgement remains necessary and which technical support actually fits the task.

The measures are translated into a workable sequence. Priorities, dependencies, responsibilities and criteria for reviewing results are explicitly taken into account.

04

Creating orientation and realigning companies

A structured assessment of where the company stands when the previous direction no longer carries – with realistic next steps.

Companies can find themselves in situations where the previous direction no longer carries sufficiently. Changed customer requirements, grown organisational complexity or decisions that were not consistently implemented can tie up resources without supporting the desired development.

In such situations I accompany the structured assessment and realignment. Together we examine which parts of the company remain viable, where adjustment is needed and which topics are holding back further development.

I understand my role here as that of a catalyst: I bring in an overarching perspective, make relationships visible, question existing assumptions and help derive concrete decisions and measures from insights.

The goal is a comprehensible direction with realistic next steps. The scope of support depends on the respective situation and the available resources. Where additional specialist expertise is required, it is brought into the further work.

05

Applying artificial intelligence practically and purposefully

Identify suitable use cases and embed AI in concrete workflows, services and digital products.

A particular focus of my work is the practical application of artificial intelligence. I help identify suitable use cases and embed AI in concrete workflows, services and digital products.

The starting point is the task at hand: Which information is needed? Which steps repeat? Where do bottlenecks arise? Which results have to be verifiable?

On this basis, suitable tools can be selected and combined into a sensible workflow. Possible fields of application range from research and knowledge preparation, through support in conception and development, to the automation of recurring activities.

Implementation also includes checking results, dealing with errors and defining human responsibilities. Technical feasibility, data requirements and organisational prerequisites are considered from the outset.

06

Developing SaaS software and digital products

AI-assisted development of SaaS software and digital applications – entrepreneurial perspective and product implementation in one hand.

My range of work also includes the AI-assisted development of SaaS software and digital applications.

I combine the entrepreneurial perspective with the conception and implementation of the product. The focus is on the needs of future users, the required functions and the processes the application is meant to support.

Development is built up step by step: from the requirements structure and the first prototype, through the elaboration of individual functions, to testing and further development of the application. Product idea, usability and technical implementation are considered together.

Approach

A comprehensible approach in five steps.

My support follows five consecutive steps.

  1. 01

    Understand the starting position

Capture goals, challenges, framework conditions and available resources.

  2. 02

    Analyse relationships

Work out causes, dependencies and development opportunities.

  3. 03

    Set priorities

Order measures by benefit, effort, risks and prerequisites.

  4. 04

    Implement step by step

Translate concepts into concrete organisational, operational and digital changes.

  5. 05

    Review results

Assess impact and practical suitability and align the next steps accordingly.

This approach combines the overarching view of the company with work on concrete tasks. It creates a shared framework for founding, further development and realignment.

Commercial Excellence

Four service areas for resilient sales performance — engageable individually or built on one another.

01

Enterprise & Complex Sales

Structuring and steering complex sales processes across corporate, enterprise, and buying-center structures — from rigorous qualification through stakeholder and decision analysis to value argumentation and contract negotiation.

View detail page

Typical starting situation

Large deals gain momentum but never reach a decision. Processes take longer than planned, decision paths are unclear, and price and scope come under pressure in procurement.

Key questions

  • Who actually decides, and what interests are behind that decision?
  • Is the deal rigorously qualified, or merely active?
  • How is the economic benefit made tangible for the customer?
  • How are price and value substantiated in the negotiation?

Advisory work

  • Qualification methodology for complex deals
  • Stakeholder and buying-center analysis per account
  • Building the economic value argument along the decision logic
  • Preparation and support for presentations and negotiations

Expected work product

  • Traceable qualification instead of optimistic guesswork
  • Clear approach for each decision level
  • Negotiation led with a defensible value argument

Suitable form of collaboration

An ongoing mandate aligned to live deals, run at a fixed cadence and grounded in concrete cases. Digital tools and AI-assisted research are used wherever they demonstrably improve preparation.

02

New Business Development

Developing a focused new-business approach with a clear target-account logic, an economically defensible value proposition, and a prioritized way of building new customer relationships.

View detail page

Typical starting situation

Existing accounts carry the business, but new business doesn’t. Outreach is irregular, target accounts are loosely defined, and building new relationships depends on individual people.

Key questions

  • Which target accounts are realistically winnable with the current offering?
  • Which outreach actually reaches the real decision-makers and stakeholders?
  • Which value proposition holds up under economic scrutiny?
  • In what sequence should you proceed so effort and return line up?

Advisory work

  • Defining and prioritizing target accounts and segments
  • Sharpening the value proposition along real purchase decisions
  • Building a prioritized approach to new-account outreach
  • Aligning acquisition, account management, and functional teams

Expected work product

  • A clearly defined target-account logic with traceable prioritization
  • A ready-to-use value and argumentation framework
  • Defensible criteria for evaluating new contacts

Suitable form of collaboration

A compact mandate spanning several weeks, optionally followed by support through the first acquisition cycles.

03

Commercial Diagnostics & Strategy

Independent analysis of market positioning, customer structure, pipeline, sales model, and commercial assumptions — resulting in clear options and a defensible basis for management decisions.

View detail page

Typical starting situation

Results are tracking off plan, and the causes are assessed differently across the organization. What’s missing is an independent read that management can decide on.

Key questions

  • How sound is the current market position and customer structure?
  • Which commercial assumptions hold up under scrutiny?
  • Where is value being lost in the sales model?
  • What options exist, and what does inaction cost?

Advisory work

  • Structured review of positioning, customer structure, and sales model
  • Review of pipeline, margins, and commercial assumptions
  • Assessment of causes and effect chains using real cases
  • Deriving prioritized options with an economic assessment

Expected work product

  • An independent read on the commercial starting position
  • Assumptions made explicit and causes verified
  • A decision basis with clearly assessed options

Suitable form of collaboration

A bounded diagnostic mandate with a defined timeframe and a results deck for management.

04

Sales Management & Forecasting

Processes, qualification criteria, metrics, and management routines that turn pipeline and forecast into a reliable basis for business decisions.

View detail page

Typical starting situation

The forecast regularly misses, the CRM only partly reflects reality, and sales management runs mostly on individual conversations rather than defensible metrics.

Key questions

  • Which metrics actually lead to better decisions?
  • Where do processes, handoffs, and CRM data quality break down?
  • Which management routines make sales performance visible and steerable?
  • How does leadership spot deviations early enough?

Advisory work

  • Mapping the sales process from first contact to decision
  • Defining stages, qualification criteria, and metrics
  • Building forecast and pipeline routines in the CRM
  • Supporting sales leadership through the rollout

Expected work product

  • A consistent sales process with defined stages
  • A forecast with a traceable derivation
  • Established management and steering routines

Suitable form of collaboration

A multi-month mandate with defined interim results and implementation support.
